             Chapter 20 - 300 word essay on Metaphysical Healing

   I learned how important it is to treat the whole patient.  The body the soul and the personality of the whole patient. A healer I feel goes through a journey to finally become a great healer.

 I find it interesting on my journey to becoming a Holistic Health Practitioner, how much suffering one goes through to realize how a healing really works. Research from recommended read from this course and from what I have found, has only reaffirmed this.

  Author Barbara Ann Brennan Hands of light, shows us how meditation can reconnect us to our energies. This in turn helps us to see into the human body through a different site, in which allows us to see sickness in a whole different realm. We can become so in tune with these energies we can detect illness and then use our energies to heal or unblock these energies, then cure that illness.

   Dr. Eric Pearl's book The Reconnection, tells us that once we feel this energy we can then use it to manipulate any part of the body and help the energies it needs to cure itself.  

  We are only to reconnect with ones self to be able to use this energy to help others.

    I truly believe that this course talks about the need to reconnect with nature and the divine up above. To stop the hurting we are creating from the lack of care we are giving. We need to get away from the thought that a pill can cure it all. Western medicine needs to have a wake up call on how it treats the human as a whole.

   I have learned from my own personal struggles of how western medicine has forgotten its roots and it's compassion. I have suffered through illness for many years and have just now through knowledge found help.

   I have, through herbal schooling, found ways to help the body, mind, and the soul through sickness, illness and toxins.
    This lesson and through history we learn that great healers come from suffering.  We need to help one another to learn and to never forget our past, for those are lessons we lived through.  The oath that we shall do no more harm on to others needs to be relived. I dream that one day western doctors and natural healers can come together and work to heal the whole human being, the body, the personality and the soul as a whole.

What is the human Aura?

Aura is an invisible energy field present around every object whether living or non-living.
It consists of seven subtle systems, that replicate some of the function of the physical body.
They extend beyond the physical and create a force field of energy and luminous colors. This
energy extends outward and has a collection of nerve fibers, which will pick up signals from the
external world, which is our warning system, we process this energy via the seven chakras.
Why do we have subtle bodies?

Subtle bodies allow us to process energy on many levels. It's like a series of filters for
our body. It helps us to feel more deeply, process, absorb on different levels of mind, body and
spirit. Helps us to heal faster and protects the human body with a series of different vibrations.
Name the different energy systems.

The etheric body, emotional body, mental body, astral body, etheric template, celestial
body and the ketheric template.

What is the function of the auric fibers?
The auric fibers are thread-like fibers that are an extension of the Peripheral Nervous
system. They are very sensitive and provide us protection by picking up signals from our
surroundings at an intuitive level, and makes us aware of our surroundings.
Where are the spinal nerves located?
The spinal cords are located, In our spinal cord.
Describe the circulatory system in the physical.
Circulatory system is an organ system that passes nutrients, gases, hormones, blood cells,
and more, to and from cells in the body to help fight diseases. It carries oxygen and nourishment
to the tissues and waste products away from them. It is the transportation highway of the body.

Describe the Circulatory system of the Etheric.
The etheric system is right next to the physical body therefore, has a circulatory
system the same as the physical body. The etheric system helps with the drainage of
contaminated etheric energy from our physical body's auric field. It has a colorless fluid that
contains numerous minute cell particles, these cell are excreted by the charka system. To help
keep our physical bodies clear.
Write a short paragraph on the physical Aura.
The physical body, the etheric body, the emotional body and the mental body all create
the personality of man and the physical body. We use all these systems to live day to day. These
systems work together to allow us to breathe, feel emotion and think clearly to survive.
What does the Etheric body look like?
Our Etheric body looks like our physical body. It is the first of the subtle bodies and next
to our physical body. It contains everything our physical does. The etheric is a gray mist that is
very luminous.
How does the Etheric body differ from the emotional body?
The emotional body is a much denser substance than the etheric. It roughly follows the
outline of the physical. The emotional body registers very powerful emotions. The emotional
body consists of all colors of the aura where the etheric is only gray in color.
What are the main functions of the chakras?
There are seven main chakras, he chakras rotate very rapidly. Each chakra is a different
color. The chakra absorbs the color it predominates in. Each charka than transforms and
transmits the colors into energy for the bloodstream, which then vitalize and energies our etheric
bodies.
What is the color of the astro body?

The color of our asto body is pink. The color of love .... From creator.
What function does the astro body serve?
The astral body roughly follows the outline of the physical. It is the bridge between the
physical and spiritual aura. It allows us to be connected to the higher planes of consciousness.
Why do we need a silver cord?
It connects our physical body to our astral body, and will disconnect at death.
Describe the spiritual aura.
The spiritual aura is made up of the celestial body, etheric template, and ketheric
template. Connection to divinity is associated with the spiritual aura. It encompasses the power
of the spoken word, love, positive thoughts and the integration of our spiritual and physical
nature.

The auric sheath is strong and resistant to penetration and protects the field.
Where are the major chakras located externally?
The outer layer of each field.
Name then and give corresponding endocrine glands.

Describe how you would go about linking with your client.

I would first get myself out of the way.

Then I need to ask permission to enter my client's energy field.

Then I need to align myself with the Universal Energy field.

Place my hands of my client's shoulders.

Move in a clockwise direction, move to the side of the bed and feel for the pulse in their wrist.

Place my hand on their solar plexus and breath in harmony with them.

 

What actions should you take when you observe problems?

               I need to stay within confines of our area of expertise, the subtle energy system and the spiritual aspect.  It is imperative that I never create the false impression that I am a doctor.

 

What is your own definition of Intuition?

Intuition is an immediate understanding or knowing something without reasoning. It is a feeling that sometimes starts in my stomach if it is a warning.  Or I know how each one of my children are feeling because I feel their feelings. It's a hunch a knowing of what is going to happen ahead of time if I listen and slow down.  It's a gift give to each one of us by God. It is our choice to use it or lose it.

 

Why is it important to keep a record of your client's progress?

               For  reference .

               So each time a client comes in you know what you did last.

               In case I need to testify in court.

                To record all progress made.

               To be able to research and for self learning and development.

 

What did you personally experience, when you did the scanning exercise?

               Not sure I experienced a lot for my first time.  We removed all belts, jackets and shoes. I had Eric lay flat on his back, arms relaxed at his side and a pillow under his head and knees. When I rubbed my hands together I could feel the center of my hands grown warm. When scanning his energy field, I at times felt warm areas, my hands continued to stay warm and I could feel energy flowing through them.

That's about all for my first time.

 

What actions should you take when you observe problem area's?

               I will just keep my hands in the area for a while until the energy seems to smooth itself out.
