Master of Metaphysical Healing Lesson 5 - Rev. Lefcourt

Assignment 5
Rev. Kelly Lefcourt

1)    Linking with Client:

First you align yourself with the Universal Energy Field. In your mind you ask your client's higher self for permission to enter their energy field.  From the client's head you put your hands on their shoulders.  Move in a clockwise direction and put your hand on their wrist and on the solar plexus.  Begin to breathe in rhythm with them.

2)    Actions when Observe problems:

Scan the body and ask your client to describe their symptoms to confirm your assessment.

3)    Definition of Intuition:

Intuition is the inner knowing that gives you information about people, places and situations.

4)    Client Records:

It is important to keep a record of your clients and your sessions to be able to notate any changes from one visit to the next.  It is also helpful in looking back and learning from each session.

5)    Personal Experience from Scanning:

My experience is that my right hand gets hot and the left one warms up and also gets "pins & needles" feeling over areas with dis-harmony.  I also see images and hear words about the person.

6)    Actions when Observe problems areas:

Scan the body and ask your client to describe their symptoms to confirm your assessment.

Master of Metaphysical Healing Lesson 3

Lesson 3
Kelly Lefcourt, Spiritual Counselor

Esoteric Physiology

1A)       The Human Aura:

The Aura is a series of colors that surround the body. The Aura extends out from the body and shows illness even before the physical body has symptoms. The Aura has multiple layers and colors.  The colors can tell a story of how a person is feeling in the mental, physical and spiritual levels.

1B)       Subtle Bodies:

We have subtle bodies systems as they replicate some of the functions of the physical body.  It guides us when we have a "gut" feeling and/or sense something. Also with a trained eye, it can show dis-ease and/or dis-harmony.

1C)        Energy Systems:

Etheric, Emotional, Mental, Astral, Etheric Template, Celestial and Ketheric Template,

1D)       Auric Fibers function:

Auric Fibers are thread-like fibers that are an extension of the Peripheral Nervous System.  They provide signals to us.

1E)       Spinal Nerves:

The spinal nerves are located in the spinal column

2)          Circulatory System in the Physical:

Carries blood and oxygen to the tissues and moves waste products away from them.  It is the chief transportation system of the body.

3)          Circulatory System in the Etheric:

Similar to the physical, the circulatory system in the Etheric moves away bad etheric energy from the physical and into the auric field. The colorless fluid contains auric cells given off from the Chakras.  They circulate through the meridians and leave the body through the skin.  The etheric body revitalizes the cells and returns them back to the body.  In the event that there is dis-harmony in the auric sheath, the person my feel tired.

4)          Physical Aura:

The Physical Aura is made up of the etheric, physical emotional and mental bodies.  It is closest to the body and is the physical aura. It represents the body's physical growth, strengths and weaknesses, physical sensations, both pleasant and unpleasant.

5)          Etheric Body:

It appears as a grey mist and it surrounds and moves through the physical. It is the first of the subtle bodies, which resembles and contains the same as the physical body.

6)          Differences Between Etheric & Emotional Bodies:

The Etheric body is a grey color and the Emotional body is multi-colored.  The etheric body is in the physical and emotions are not present. However the emotional body is connected to the sympathetic nervous system and is affected by the solar plexus chakra.

7)          Functions of the Chakras:

The Chakras control and energize, for the proper functioning of the whole physical body as well as its different parts and organs.

8)          Astral Body Color:

Rose, Pink

9)          Astral Body Function:

It is the bridge between the physical and spiritual auras as well as between ourselves and higher planes of consciousness.

10)        Silver Cord:

It connects the astral body to the physical.

11)        Spiritual Aura description:

It is connected to love, The Divine, pure thoughts and combines our physical and spiritual nature.

12)        Major Chakras located:

On the outer layer of each field.

13)        Major Chakras & corresponding endocrine gland:

Crown                Pituitary
3rd Eye                              Pineal
Throat                              Thyroid
Heart                  Thymus
Solar Plexus    Pancreas
Sacral                 Ovaries/Testes
Root                    Adrenals

Questions for mystical Christianity lesson 17 (Bob Koenig)

Questions For the Heart and Mind

  1. In your opinion, why do bad things happen to good people?

I have though of this a long time. I asked my Lutheran minister ages ago..he said God was "testing People" I think these people in past lives were  very bad..did something that now they are paying for.
  1. How do you resolve the ancient dilemma of how a loving and just God can allow tragic things to happen?
Basically to Karma. That actions involve reaction. to NOT get in this state is to follow the 10 Commandments closely. But as human, fallible, we cannot. God doesnt wish bad things to happen, WE allow them.
  1. Describe the way you see karma working in your life.
Sometimes i have wondered why certain things happen...or sometimes, I've seen something good happen i'd never have expected. Things I wish for, perhaps not right for me at the time, never do. Or perhaps you tell a fib that later someone crosses your path on the subject...then you wish you didnt say that at all. it causes life lessons for us.
  1. Do you believe that karma is one hundred percent responsible for your current circumstances or are there other important factors involved? If so, what are they?
You mean where i stand now in a lot of mays? Yes. and Most of my own doing and undoings.  though i sometimes wonder what i did in past lives to deserve it all.

ANATOMY  AND  PHYSIOLOGY
REVISION

Complete these sentences
The human body has BILLIONS OF CELLS especially developed so that each type of tissue CREATES ORGANS on behalf of the rest of the body. These tissues are further grouped together CREATING SYSTEMS.

An ORGAN IS A GROUP OF TISSUES arranged in a certain way to carry out SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS, e,g. the stomach, heart, kidneys, etc.
The organs are again grouped together to form SYSTEMS.

A SYSTEM is A GROUP OF ORGANS, which together carry out one of the essential functions of the body.

The following systems, grouped together, form the Human Body

THE  SKELETAL  SYSTEM
Is A GROUP OF BONES which gives
FRAMEWORK to the body.

BONES AND MUSCLES – concerned
with THE MOVEMENT AND PROTECTION of the Body.

SKELETON – RIGID FRAMEWORK
gives SHAPE and SUPPORT to the Body,
and is JOINTED to permit MOVEMENT

THE  MUSCULAR  SYSTEM
Bones are moved at joints by the
FLEXING (EXPANDING &CONTRACTION) of
MUSCLES attached to them.

FACIAL muscles are involved in
CHEWING, EXPRESSION, SPEECH.
The deep muscles of the THORAX
linking the ribs, contract and relax in
THE LUNGS – FOR BREATHING.

The muscles of the ABDOMEN are
arranged in sheets and PROTECT delicate
abdominal organs. They also HELP
to compress abdominal contents and aid in
DIGESTION, DEFICATING
  and in the process of
CHILDBIRTH in the female.
In the LEGS are found the most
powerful muscles of the body –
especially those acting on the hip joint.

THE CIRCULATORY SYSTEM
Carries BLOOD/OXYGEN to the tissues
and waste products away from them.
It is the chief TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM
of the body and consists of the following :
·         BLOOD
·         HEART
·         BLOOD VESSELS– a closed system
of TUBES consisting of :
·         VEINS
·         ARTERIES
·         CAPILLARIES

THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
Allows EXCHANGES OF GASSES between the
body and the environment.
It consists of the following :
·        LUNGS
·      NASAL
·        RIBS
·        LARYNX
·        TRACHIA
·        DIAPHRAGM
·        BREATHING MUSCLES
·        STERNUM
·        VERTEBRAE
·        BRONCHAE
·        THORACIC CAGE

THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM
Is concerned with PROCESSING and
ABSORBTION of food and the ELIMINATION
of waste matter.
It consists of the following :
·        MOUTH/SALIVA
·        PHARYNX
·        ESOPHOGUS
·        STOMACH
·        INTESTINES (SMALL)
·        LIVER
·        GALL BLADDER
·        PANCREAS
·        INTESTINES (LARGE)
·        RECTUM AND ANAL AREA

THE ENDOCRINE SYSTEM
Produces HORMONES which control a A VARIETY OF FUNCTIONS.
Although each ENDOCRINE GLAND has specific functions, all are interdependent.
Overactivity or Underactivity of any one of them affects the whole system.
This system consists of the following DUCTLESS GLANDS
·     PITUITARY
_________
·        PINEAL
·        THYRIOD
·        PARATHYROID
·        THYMUS
·        ADRENAL GLANDS
·        PANCREAS
·        OVARIES
·        TESTES

THE URINARY SYSTEM
Together with the RESPIRATORY SYSTEM and
the Skin, the KIDNEYS are the chief
EXCRETORY ORGANS of the body.

The URINARY SYSTEM consists of :
·        KIDNEYS
·        URETERS
·        URETHRA
·        BLADDER

THE NERVOUS SYSTEM
Is concerned with the CONTROL and
INTEGRATION of all bodily functions.
It makes it possible for us to be AWARE
of our environment and to respond to
CHANGES within that environment.
It consists of the SPINAL COLUMN
and NERVES, some of which carry
messages from the tissues to the
BRAIN and others from the brain to
the TISSUES.
Incoming messages are carried by SENSORY NERVES
and the BRAIN is able to interpret such messages in
the light of experience.
Outgoing messages from the brain are
carried by THE MOTOR NERVES and result
in ACTIVITY AND MOVEMENT.

THE LYMPHATIC SYSTEM

The Lymphatic System consists of :

·        LYMPH VESSELS
·        LYMPH NODES & LYMPHATIC TISSUE
·        SPLEEN
·        THYMUS
·        TONSILS

Lymph fluid picks up DEAD CELLS, BACTERIA
and PROTEINS that have been removed from
the blood.
Lymph fluid returns the protein to
the BLOOD
The LYMPH GLANDS remove the dead cells
and BACTERIA from the lymph fluid.
The SPLEEN helps clean dead
CELLS and bacteria from the blood.
The spleen is located in the
