Master of Metaphysical Healing Essay by Rev. Alicia Gamble

This course exceeded my expectations. What I liked about it most was that it incorporated the physical body systems which are something I have been looking for in a course. Often, for people like me, you tend to feel what others are experiencing. It is no problem when they have a pain or something going on in their head, leg or somewhere easily identifiable, but when it is internal and you don't know the body systems well it can be difficult to explain what you feel. Not to mention the fact that it can make you sound like you don't know what you are talking about. So that was a wonderful aspect to include.

I found the auric fibers lesson quite illuminating. I had only heard of "unruffling" once before but it wasn't really explained until now. It really helped me to understand some things I wondered about with regards to the auric field as well as exactly what to do. I was also interested to learn that in the case of fluid retention unruffling must be done upwards, but no higher than the solar plexus to avoid heart palpitations.

The induction lessons were wonderful additions. I always wanted to know more about them and how to do them, so this was very helpful. I really enjoyed practicing them and making my own. The past life regression lesson was quite fascinating as well. I have always been interested in this area, I am not sure if it is something I would like to get into, maybe in the future when I have more experience.

 

I definitely agree that you shouldn't jump to conclusions when reading the colors of a person's aura. My husband was in a terrible car accident when he was sixteen in which his scull was crushed amongst other things. For many years when he would meet anyone who could see the colors of the aura they all thought he was bad or something and would have nothing to do with him. It wasn't until a couple of years ago that we found out around his head was a black sort of color from the accident years ago. Had we not of mentioned to accident to this particular person they would have stayed away from us as well. It was a really good learning opportunity for us and the other person.

All in all I was really happy with this course. I plan on doing more research on the auric field as well as inductions and working with them more as well. I think I may even invest in the book(s) she was referring to in this course as they sound like they might be quite interesting. I will definitely recommend this course to others! Thanks!

Subject: Lesson 9,  Conducting a Healing Clinic

To all my fellow healers;

I have to say I do not have a healing clinic but I have been inside some clinics that were mostly free and had the opportunity to meet some healers.

A friend invited me to a clinic in Florida one day where I watched him and other healers work on clients that would come off the street for a number of ailments. I learn that he had started a International Healing Clinic and was doing very well. Dale was a nice but strange in a way  because on how he became a healer, which was interesting; I later learn that he had suffered a massive heart attack that took his life. Dale was a natural healer, he never had any formal classes, he had suffered  a accident in early life which lead to his weak heart. I’m glade I had the opportunity to have a friend like Dale.
I belong to Ozark Research Institute (ORI), this pass October I had the opportunity to visit it in Arkansas, it was quiet interesting place, there are many different types of healers that have one goal to make everything better in and around us and the world, they have helped me through some difficult times and helped others. I’m glade I’m a member.
As a healer make sure that you always show respect to your client.
Sometimes people off the street come to rob your energy, especially those on the dark side, when you feel a strange motion or smell of bitter or cold around someone this may be a good indication to clean or smug your area, light a few candles and some incense  to the air.
If I know that I’m going to be healing I will meditate on that particular client, most of my meditation are short to cleans myself before, because you never know what you will run into while driving around or come upon.
Have plenty of water for your clients on hand and please remind them after they return home to drink at least two full 8oz of water but not too cold. What happens the healer has loosened a lot of negative energy and by drinking plenty of natural water will help in washing away the dirty energy, which in turn makes them feel better.

Also whatever your client tells you in confidants it stays with you. Because my memory is not so great it becomes a blessing for me that I can’t remember much of what was said, it leaves little to judge. This about all I have to say about this lesson.

Metaphysical Healing

My name is Deborah Overfield. I am working towards a degree in Ministry and Natural Health. I know many modalities of healing and taking this class from an experienced person I felt I could broaden my knowledge. This is the most rewarding work and I look forward to getting up every day to a new adventure. I am also meeting amazing people.

Things I learned is that it always seems we may be looking for an answer or something and in reality we are already in the middle of it. It seems to be our awareness is that it makes us pay attention. Everybody’s healing is individual and personal. No matter what all info should always remain confidential. Always give thanks for the power within is given to us. I learned how to ask questions and test an individual.

I learned what not to do as to not be in any trouble with the government.

What I did not resonate with is how often people want to be healed and never feel it is real or worth paying for. I had had tons of people asking for healing and only a couple willing to pay. I pray things will change I intend it to be and all blocks removed. I do heal people for free but this was not my intention for a business when I can barely make it on my own with my other job and I have all these skills I studied hard for. Another thing I don’t like is I am always drilled about WHERE did you learn this. If it wasn’t from a collage or a place the government gives you the degree they seem to poo poo it. I have run into lots of People thinking I’m a kook. There are a few that come to me that believe in me and want to trade services for a plastic $1 store plate. I did not work on them because they found no value in it. I had people thinking it was evil. I was so amazed at how many people believe the devil and evil and never seem to even grasp that God is more powerful and can do far more. Jesus is the healer. So this is my most disliked thing of all.

What I’d like to hear more of is anything that can possible work for the seemingly impossible symptoms that are worked on for years. Isn’t there a way somehow that it could be fixed faster. Some things take some things instant, some a few days, weeks, months, years. My thing is why should it take a year for some things? Maybe we will never know. My thoughts are it is possible to heal sooner. How is the question? The modalities and things I’ve learned have not taught me those skills yet. Also any and all methods are welcome for me, I like to learn things related to healing, spiritual healing and health.

Also anything more about the vortexes of the body and the environment. I am interested also in portals and healing more with the angels.

What I like is being my own best physician! I love helping people and making the world a better place one person at a time. The endocrine glands, charkas, aura and meridians including positive attitudes in balance will bring about good health. I like how instantly the body will repair, and heal itself. Intent and having the body in a willingness for change is all that is needed for change to occur. I believe that as time goes on and medical field continues to fail more and more people are awakening to natural health as the answer. I am humbled by this work and welcome the new revolution of health. More and more as I go around town I see my natural health. Stores carry more natural product now. I’m thrilled to be apart of it and knowing everyday I do this I’m doing God’s work.

Metaphysical Healing

When thinking about the gift of being a good channeler is to take care of yourself in mind,body & spirit. healing is not intended to be hard to do, just be honest with yourself on who and what intentions your have on the channeling, When I do distant healing I keep a small private log just to verify that when I speak to the person, most say to me around 9 PM I felt a strange feeling on my neck and the pain I was having went away.

In my experiences before I do any healing I balance and ground myself through the chakra system, this aliens my system to receive for my crown chakra to open easier so I can draw down the energy from the life force energy I which the flow is 100%, as it enters my body and goes to my hands and feet and also lights me up and control the correct amount of energy that the healee receives after the subject has received the energy, the healing part become when and how the subject uses this healing. Sometimes people tell me I don't feel any different, some say I don't know it's something I have never felt before, some say even after weeks that they still feel the affect and some say it didn't work on me.

I believe all life force energy is true, it always has an effect,but we do have the right to take it or leave it. Some people rather stay sick, than be healed, they receive more attention from people, but it always work, in the positive. Most people say I can't do that, it's against my religion, I have been call a witch many times, as long as you keep yourself in the light and balance and stay healthy a healer should not have any trouble.

Where does it come from my source is my Creator, the Spirit in the sky or the Great Spirit, believe me it works.

It's true you do not need to have any faith, you don't need to be religious the best thing about the Creator is he see no religion, he see his creation.

Metaphysical Healing

I've been reading over the lessons. 

I read the introduction of Katharine Lee, and it's quite impressive and hard to match a story after that one.

I started learning about healing around 1974, I first attended Dr. Joseph Romero's Symposium International, in a nut shell, it was a live course teaching the ways our body can make us ill or death. We make the basic decisions through our life that leads us down a path on what we think of ourselves, others, the world, and so on, all this controls our lives, to the point of death if we want to, but with a controlled positive mind we can control our fate and our sicken and ultimately our world.

I have looked into different forms of the art of healing and have been successful in many forms, Touch for Heath looking for a fix all, but winding up not getting the correct result.

At one point when my oldest brother was dying of cancer, I was determined to find something that would heal him, after reading more books that proclaimed to have the cure all, I wound up empty handed, I finally got a book and found out no one has the keys to life, except ONE, we have no control over life..

What I have found that if you can channel your life in a positive direction this will give you a sense of mind to further your life some what, rather that disregarding all the medical advise about smoking, drinking and so in excess and how this type of path breaks your organs down to somewhat open a door to let an illness or worst come in and lessen our lives.

Up to this day I'm a REIKI master, but I practice all forms of healing, whatever works I do it. I believe that before we are born, we somehow make a contract with the Creator on when and where and how long we stay on earth, unless we shorten our lives by doing dumb things to our system and bodies, this nothing to do with the Creator, but that who we blame when we fall.

Metaphysical Healing

Masters of Metaphysical Healing

       Metaphysical healing is a term and subject that I had heard people mentioned as they past by, but I did not know what metaphysical healing was.  There were some topics in this course that I had never considered in the past to be metaphysical healing such as past life regressions and soul retrieval.  I did enjoy reading about the instructors past in how she ended up being a metaphysical healer in South Africa.  I found it very interesting how metaphysical healers are used there.

            I learned that there is an association in South Africa for metaphysical healers.  I did not know beforehand that such associations existed anywhere.  I also did not know that metaphysical healing dealt with the human energy field.  I did know that humans gave off some type of energy because I could tell sometimes if someone was mad/angry or happy or sad.

            Chakras and auric fibers was something totally new to me.  I did not know that chakras and auric fibers existed or even how many someone had.  While taking this course, I had purchased some Buddhist peace flags and hung them in my bedroom.  During this course, I realized that each flag was a color of a chakra which was an amazing moment since I was just learning about chakra.

            Some of the other things that I learned during this course were how to center yourself before doing the actually healing and asking the person permission to enter into their energy field.  I like how the instructor mentioned that in the West, healers usually get centered by meditating or praying while in the East, healers usually use the beat of a drum.  I did not know that metaphysical healers worked with medical doctors.  I thought metaphysical healers would be competing against medical doctors for business instead of working alongside the doctors.  I did not know before that healing was balancing the energy field between body, mind, and spirit.

        This course also showed taught things I would never have guessed that a healer would have to do to heal.  Things that healers do that surprised me at first is asking a lot of background questions and medical history questions.  Other things like signing waivers was something I did not think about before taking this class.  This class also introduced me to a new way of thinking about how people can use metaphysical healing along with medicine to be healed from ailments that people suffer from.  I think this course was also one of the harder courses I have taken.  I took this course to learn more about metaphysical healing which I did, but after taking this class I learned something about myself and that is I do not think becoming a metaphysical healer is in the near future for me.  This class still was worth taking because I learned new things about metaphysical healing and know a little bit about it now.

  THIS CLASS MADE ME GO THROUGH MY BOOK SHELF AND PULL OUT SOME FAVORITES METAPHYSICAL TEACHER'S WORKS

      DR. ERNEST HOLMES, EDGAR CAYCE, MARY EDDY BAKER, EMMA HOPKINS, LOUISE HAY, THE SECRET AND JUST TO MANY OTHERS TO COUNT.  THIS WAS GOOD. ALL TO OFTEN I THINK WE FORGET ALL ABOUT THOSE BOOKS WE READ AND KEPT NODDING OUR HEADS AS WE WERE FINALLY UNDERSTANDING IT ALL. THIS CLASS FOR ME WAS A JOLT TO RE-VISIT IDEAS THAT SOMEHOW HAD BECOME LOST.

       THERE WERE SEVERAL LESSON THAT SEEMED TO RE-AWAKEN MY OWN SPIRITUAL VOICE.

  LESSON EIGHT-"INTENTIONS''- THIS ENABLED ME TO RECONNECT TO MY STUDIES IN RELIGIOUS SCIENCE. IT MADE ME THINK AND REFLECT ON WHY I WAS CALLED INTO THIS WAY OF THINKING IN THE FIRST PLACE. I NEEDED DIRECTION. I HAD A TURNING POINT   WITHIN MY LIFE THAT NEEDED TO BE ADDRESSED.  THIS LESSON ENABLE ME TO REFRESH MY MIND ON INTENTIONS. HOW TO KEEP MY MIND OPEN AND MY SENSE OF CLARITY CLOSE TO MY INNER EYES.

LESSON 10 " THE GIFT OF VISUALIZATION   "NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN" HOW TRUE . THIS AGAIN HAD ME PICKING ONE OF MY FAVORITE METAPHYSICAL MENTOR'S TO AGAIN COME TO CLARITY. NOW I  SAID "TO COME TO CLARITY"  THIS IS A VERY POWERFUL STATEMENT . CLARITY IS USUALLY ASSOCIATED WITH THE MENTAL REALM.  YET AGAIN ALL REALMS ARE NEEDED TO HAVE A  MOMENT OF CLARITY, A TIME FOR A VISION. BASICALLY RENEWING ONES OWN LIFE'S VISION

LESSON 12- " LETTING GO OF"  "GUILT IS THE PROBLEM BUT LOVE AND FORGIVENESS ARE ALWAYS THE ANSWER.  AS I READ THIS I REMEMBER ONE OF MY FAVORITE BOOKS, "THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK". ANNE'S LAST ENTRY IS" I STILL BELIEVE THAT DEEP DOWN INSIDE PEOPLE'S HEARTS IS GOODNESS" ANNE WROTE THIS MOMENTS BEFORE THE NAZI'S BROKE DOWN THE DOOR TO THE SECRET ANNEX. ANNE KNEW WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN AND HAD 'CLARITY' TO WRITE DOWN ONE OF THE MOST PROFOUND STATEMENTS IN LITERATURE AND JUST BASICALLY HUMAN HISTORY.  SHE BASICALLY WAS LETTING GO AND MOST OF ALL FORGIVING THE PEOPLE WHO WERE GOING TO HURT HER.

HOW POWERFUL IF EACH PERSON COULD JUST DO THIS. OBVIOUSLY THIS IS WHERE WE BATTLE OUR EGO'S.

LESSON 16 PART 3 " MIRACLES AND HEALTH" NOW THIS IS WHERE I FELT MY EGO CREEPING IN. I LIVE WITH FIBROMYALGIA A CHRONIC PAIN CONDITION. READING THAT ILLNESS COME FROM MY OWN MIND IS NOTHING NEW. AS I READ THIS I GOT MARY BAKER EDDY'S "SCIENCE AND HEALTH" FROM MY SHELVES. SURELY ENOUGH THERE WAS MY BOOK MARK WHERE I HAD LEFT OFF. I HAD A HARD TIME WITH THIS BOOK.  I THINK THIS IS MY LIFE PROCESS TO UNDERSTAND IDEALS LIKE MIRACLES AND YOUR HEALTH. IT WAS HITTING HOME AND SOME OF IT I WAS NOT WILLING TO LISTEN TO.

THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS I LOVE BELONGING TO ULC SEMINARY.  I DON'T HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS AFTER I READ AN ASSIGNMENT, NOR AM I MOVED , ENLIGHTEN OR HAVE A MOMENT OF CLARITY. ALL I KNOW IS CLARITY OFTEN HAPPENS AFTER I READ AND RE-READ AN ASSIGNMENT, BUT MOSTLY WHEN I APPLY IT TO MY DAILY LIFE.

Metaphysical Healing

Subject: Lesson 7,  Shower Technique

To all my  brothers and sisters

In my experiences dealing with negative energy or cross-contamination to another person should be avoided. In my early days of doing healings I had witnessed the illness and the effects associated with different people, it’s not a good feeling. Making it clear to the client of their responsibilities in relation to spreading “bad” energy to each other mainly by not following simple procedures after a session that can be avoided. Sometimes when you have many clients in a short period of time it’s easy to miss a simple check mark and find yourself becoming out-of-balance and sick, this happens when a practitioner tries to cut corners, and what should be is to pace yourself and schedule your clients accordingly that will fit in your time frame.
You can clear or move this stagnate energy by visualizing taking a water shower or pouring a golden-whitish water over your head at the very top and moving your body so the waters can reach different parts of your body, even the bottoms of the feet. After a complete cleansing visualization stepping out not on the physical floor but just above it while a large rotating clean air fan is drying you with golden-violet light.
After a session it is very important to sweep the client aura again and re-ground them. I have been told by many friends, family and  clients that after a healing session regardless whether it’s a short or long session they have felt as if the energy is still there weeks after and as far as animals and plants they show it as well.
Before and after I remind the client of the responsibility that had been disgust  in the agreement that was needed by the client for the proper care needed. I ask for the client to drink two glasses of purified water after the session which I provide and two after they return home, by drinking water this aids the loose negative energy can be passed out with the waste products.
I believe washing your hands is a must to stop any cross-contamination to yourself and your next client, if you are out in the field some good anti-biotic throw away towels are helpful, for very short sessions clapping your hands and opening to the air has worked for me.
A good way to remove toxins from body if a shower is not available is to use Epson Salt in a bath tub soak in the tub, that can remove some impurities and toxins as well.
Take care and practice responsible and keep yourself clean.

Metaphysical Healing

Subject: Lesson 8,  Taking  an Adult Medical History

To all my  brothers and sisters

I can honestly say, I’m a healing person in which I do not charge for my services taking a lot of medical information is not up my alley. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t take this because if you do this healing as a business, you may need to take some info to cover your behind.

What I normally do is dress appropriate for the season, Katharine is correct when she said that first impressions go a long ways, that holds true for the client as well. I have noticed some of the clients that I meet either throw up a front just to throw you off or a shield of protection to confuse the healer, this is why looking over the client before they enter the healing room. If you have a waiting room, by the way this is not sneaky but sometimes if you listen closely you can actually hear the client (through your intuition) you can feel and hear the client rehearsing their conversation, with you. When the client walks through the door watch how they move, especially watch their face, eyes, expressions, body language, any disabilities and so on.

All the previous lessons that we have done, keeps us on our path to understand how the body parts and the location of chakras and organs and energy fields work together to figure out most what the clients problem is. It’s quite important to let the client talk as much as possible, at the same time reassuring them of your ethic code and their privatize.

I can get a good idea of what is going on in a interview, also client bring animals, such as dogs or cats also to confuse the healer.

It’s always a good idea not to get to personal or involved with a client, because if you do have to go to court to explain a event it could get sticky, try to avoid that area if you can.
Since I do not charge some clients have ask that before a session to come to their home for supper, but then again make sure you practice not to get involved when the client.
I do not specialize in exorcism but I have had client ask if I would look for them or at them for a spiritual channeling and most of the time is not any type of possession involvement, if I detect any possessions I recommend they seek a professional assistant.

A disclaimer is a good idea and remember we are a channel for the Universal Life Force Energy, on all levels mind, body and spirit, which in my case I have never felt the heat in my hands while healing my client but some have said it was very warm. I know when I pray, I do not place my hands flat together because they get so hot I can’t hold them for long, so I cup them a lot.

Cure and miracles  I only know One that can do and promise all of that.

Subject: Lesson 6,  Auric Fibres

To all my  sisters and bothers,

In my experiences with what to do first is, when I sit down and speak to the client of gathering information for my own interest and to aid me in their condition.  On every session with a client I ask permission first to clean their Aura, in a free flowing light continuous sweep from the head to the toes, which in my view I’m also aligning the Auric Fibres to make everything right or to correct the positions of the fibres for the good of the client. In doing this it aids me in my scanning of the clients fields.

When I scan, I only use my left hand and about six to eight inches from the body I’m able to pickup those hot and cold spots and using the locations of the chakras and the body areas of organs, to make it easier to identify some of the problems before I start the healing session.

The effects of the healing force to some clients can be similar to a jolt of a small battery and as peaceful as a expression of what was that, I just had, kind a like this is a strange feelings.
People that have back pains and problem in the spine should be made comfortable as sitting in a chair upright so to relax easier, this makes the session move easier. As a practitioner you should be prepared to act on any client, that’s if you have collected the correct information about the client. In my experiences practitioners that have no hands heal with their feet or by imagery adjust to you clients needs.

I think there is some type of harmonious activity that should be there between the healer and the client but there is a lot of the unknown that a client need not to believe in anything for a healing can work.
As I have said before that we as healers or channels only deliver the goods and it’s mainly up to the client and his or hers creator, which they wish to believe. Many people die because they are unable to forgive themselves or others, as a healer we have no control over what happens afterwards.

Mostly all the times when I finish my session with the client before getting up form lying down on a table to let me sit them up when they are ready and then sit on the side and get their bearing before standing up. Energy is strange no matter if the client has been sitting or lying it’s always a good idea to assist them in rising.
Inside our bodies is a power plant of energy it’s is unknown just how much; on one of my attunements I remember the teacher told me I was a power plant by myself and didn’t need to be attuned.
Can a person get overloaded I believe they can and experience different signs of pains, irritabilities, feelings and all of these should considered a reason to terminated the session. On some occasions when I would  be balancing the chakras I would come across (for example solar plexus chakra the client would start laughing, crying or even cussing) I what stop my movement or pause until it would stop or calm down this is not a energy overload but a normal reaction to a chakra release.

Questions For the Heart and Mind

1. How do you view the Bible and how do you use Scripture in your daily life?

 

I view the Bible as an integral part of my life. I use Scripture in my daily life as my daily spiritual bread. It is my ongoing nourishment. I read about Jesus' words, actions, and take His example as the template of my being. When I need to make a crucial decision in my life, I never do so without prayer first and reading the Bible. At different times of my life different parts of the Bible have given me inspiration. I carry my Bible to work with me, and at times I read verses from it to give me strength and wisdom for the day.

 

2. Describe a myth that is currently a part of your life. What is its origin? How   does it influence you in a positive or negative way?

 

A myth that is currently part of my life is that a woman without a husband, father or brother to direct her life and her life decisions is often of  little value. I experience at times that as an independent woman, my views are not always taken seriously. At one stage when I was dealing with a normal everyday issue, I was told to come back with a male at my side to talk for me. When I questioned the reason why, I was told that the Scriptures say that a man should be at the head of the household, and the woman should keep silent. I pointed out that my father has passed away (RIP) and I am a single independent woman needing to deal with daily issues. I was then told that this was unScriptural, I should go away and get a husband, because a woman is not able to look after herself, only a man can look after her. I have found that this myth has been positive for me in that it has inspired me to stand up and become emotionally strong. It has been a negative influence in that it can cause friction in daily life in encounters when I need to deal with people who have some degree of this myth in their thought system.

3. As you read the first three chapters of the Book of Genesis, what feelings do these words evoke? Where are these feelings coming from?

The first three chapters of Genesis evoke feelings of gratitude in me, that God chose humanity in form of man and women to be made in His Image and Likeness. (Gen.1;27). I feel this to be an honour, grace and blessing. These chapters inspire me to want to develop traits in myself which are characteristic of God. These traits would include His truthfulness, creativity, loving Nature.

The first three chapters of Genesis also evoke memories of feelings of rejection and hurt I experienced when, as a girl child, I was taught these chapters and told that as a girl I should be ashamed for causing the fall of man who was superior. As a four year old I could not correlate the love I was experiencing that God had for me with what I was being told, that I was of a gender responsible for bad events which had happened. These feelings come from early childhood training about the Scriptures, and present experiences of the goodness and love of God.

4. What difference would it make to you as a woman or man to re-interpret these verses of Scripture as has been suggested in this lesson?

 

It would make a difference to me as a woman to re-interpret the verses of Scriptures not that I am a vessel of blame for man's downfall, but that I am a helpmate at man's side, both co-equal in the grace of God's loving creation of us to fit us for a world of learning before attaining eternal life. I find it most helpful as suggested in this lesson that it is conceivable that the story in the Garden is a story of initiation instead of punishment and loss. It makes more sense to me, in the light of my own experience as a person on this earth.

Summation of the Metaphysical Healing Course

Full Circle

The idea of coming “full circle” in strategies for creating health and balance within clients is growing daily.

Each culture in history has had its concept of healing powers and rituals used by the people of that culture. With modern medical models the more technically advanced societies have turned away from ancestral healing traditions.

While modern medical models provide dramatic results, they are still limited because there are many cases where a client full recovers against all odds while other cases where a client dies even though a procedure has been perfectly performed. Those who daily work in the modern medical setting see these situations of life and death. They also experience clients relating their interactions with the energetic or spiritual realms during the times the client is in the hospital.

Such experiences compiled over time are causing modern medical workers to consider “the more” that is at work in healing.

I am trained and certified in energetic healing and have for the past 25 years pursued the knowledge that is commonly regarded as non-traditional when compared to medical and spiritual contemporary ideas.

This acquisition of learning (fueled by a subtle knowing) increased when I became so ill I was unable to continue working. Nothing modern medicine could do changed or improved my condition. It wasn’t until I spent my time actively practicing alternative therapies that my health began to improve. I came to understand that my spirit/soul was so unbalanced that my health failed. This situation gave me the time to use the alternative healing skills I was learning. It also gave me the opportunity to grow spiritually, seek further understanding and skills in energetic healing.

Now on a path of seeking knowledge, applying it to myself and finally to others, I find myself engaged in things that suit my personality and can help others by direct application or through teaching and/or mere exposure to metaphysical ideas.

While on this newer path, I have been blessed to have a friend who is a nurse at a leading hospital. She also offers healing touch to her clients. She has first-hand experience having a foot on each side of the issues of health/illness, and life/death as she follows emergency patients from intake to release. Her strong belief in Christianity brings yet another aspect to her healing techniques.

This course in metaphysics brought me the knowledge of the strong movement of organization and validation of spiritual healers in South Africa. I was completely unaware of this activity and found it interesting and enlightening. The cooperation between seemingly opposite medical models is breathtaking. I am awed by the scope of work and efforts put forth to create such an alliance. The time for cooperation has truly arrived.

Reading about the hurdles and opposition Dr. Lee overcame through the years shows me that God/Universe can move everything aside and empower those struggling for positive change when the time is right.

Dr. Lee’s work and efforts, I believe, are a powerful beginning to meld regular and spiritual medicine in today’s world. When the standard approach to health is holistic we will all benefit greatly. When working for wellness rather than tamping down symptoms or surgically removing parts of our bodies becomes the norm I believe we will see dramatic miracles daily. The connectedness to our Source is necessary for true health.

The metaphysical joined with the traditional will create a world full of balanced beings in touch with their Creator. This synergistic approach will create the much needed health for all beings and our planet. This harmonious world is just a thought away!
